There’s no better announcement to be made as Pride Month comes to a close: IFC has picked up the web comedy series Slo Pitch for two seasons.

The lack of Major League Baseball this season might be a disappointment to fans, but Slo Pitch is sure to be the tonic (or, uh, over-priced stadium beer) to fill the void.

I just knew I was going into a series I’d end up loving with taglines like “Beers. Queers. Slo Pitch.” and “Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Will Lose.”
